Privacy policy

Tejas Manna collects only what we need to plant and care for your trees. We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising or tracking tools on this site.

What we collect

• Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number (optional).
• Planting address: the address you enter at checkout, and its map location.
• Your order: the trees and services you buy and your planting and visit dates.
• Your trees' records: care visits, watering history, warranty claims, and a photo our crew takes of each newly planted tree.

We don't collect card numbers. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your card details go straight to them.

How we use it

• To plant your trees, schedule visits, and contact you about your order.
• To look up your trees when you request a visit, renew a care plan, or file a warranty claim.
• To review warranty claims.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that run this site, and only for that purpose:

• Stripe processes payments.
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) receives the address you type at checkout so we can find its map location and confirm it's in our service area.
• Vercel hosts the website, and Neon hosts our database.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How we protect it

The site uses HTTPS throughout. Customer email addresses and phone numbers are encrypted in our database, and only our own staff can access customer records.

Cookies and browser storage

Your shopping cart is saved in your own browser so it's still there when you come back. Our staff login uses a cookie. We don't use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your records for as long as we care for your trees, plus whatever time we need for tax and business records.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@tejasmanna.com. We may need to keep some records, such as payment history, where the law requires it.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date above.
